Effective Saturday, COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on all outdoor entertainment, art, and sports venues including ticketed events; and indoor entertainment venues, conventions, and other businesses, Gov. Larry Hogan said Wednesday. The only restriction that will remain in place for the time being is the indoor mask requirement, which can be lifted as soon as the state reaches the federal goal of 70% of adults having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Governor Hogan says the plan is to get everything back to normal by Memorial Day.
