The new generation of musicians is writing music on computers, and this is very sad. The quality of songwriting has crashed and dived. The days of going into a recording studio, setting up in the same room with other musicians and having eye contact with them is gone. There’s a great mojo in musicians creating music together — the magic of the human performance And all of that is gone. Most of the songs on radio are perfect now. And perfect, to me, doesn’t sound right.
