Cumberland City Police continue to investigate a destruction of property incident at the Downtown Dollar Store on Greene Street, which damaged several thousands of dollars in plants and flowers and other property of the business owner. The police department is seeking assistance from the public; if anyone observed anything suspicious in the 700-block of Greene Street during the overnight hours of Thursday into Friday morning, they are asked to call (301)-77-1600, or through the Facebook page.
