OAKLAND MAN ARRESTED IN DRUG BUST

Further charges are pending in an incident yesterday, in which Oakland resident Jesse Nolan Skipper was charged with drug possession and burglary. Garrett County deputies arrested Skipper inside a residence which he allegedly burglarized. He had been staying at the home, in the 200-block of Oak Street in Mountain Lake Park, for several days. Drug paraphernalia items were found inside the house, including items used to smoke methamphetamine, a hypodermic needle and a quantity of heroin. He was charged and taken to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he is being held, pending a bond hearing.
