During his visit to Western Maryland, Governor Larry Hogan stopped by a COVID vaccination clinic for high schoolers at Greenway Avenue Stadium yesterday. The Governor urged everyone to get the vaccine, noting they are, quote, “the best way for us to get back to normal.” As of Tuesday, there have been 16 new COVID cases, with zero additional deaths. About a third of Allegany County residents have been fully vaccinated. The county positivity rate is 3.42 per cent, while the state is well below that, at 2.19 per cent.
