Snakehead fish are still causing problems in Maryland waters. Scientists say the populations of the fish have increased and could devastate the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. They have snake-like patterns and can live days at a time on land. The snakehead fish is native to Asia and invaded Maryland in the early 2000s.
