AAA POLL SHOWS MARYLANDERS EAGER TO TRAVEL

A new Triple-A survey shows Marylanders are growing increasingly confident about traveling in the coming months.  Sixty-three-percent of people who responded said they are considering or planning a trip this summer.  The poll found Marylanders have a pent-up demand for a vacation, or what Triple-A calls “revenge travel,” after the pandemic forced many to stay home over the past year.  The survey also found over 806,000 Marylanders plan to travel for the Memorial Day weekend, which is 89-percent of the people who traveled pre-pandemic.
