MARYLAND BEGINS TWO-MILLION-DOLLAR VACCINATION LOTTERY

Marylanders who have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine will now have a shot at winning a share of two-million-dollars. The Maryland Lottery partnered with state Health Department to give out 40-thousand-dollars a day to a randomly selected winner through July 3. On the Fourth of July, a grand prize winner will get 400-thousand-dollars. All residents 18 and older who have received a vaccination in Maryland have a chance to win. No registration is needed, but people vaccinated through federal sites are not eligible because their information is not provided to the state’s Health Department.¬† The prize money comes from the Lottery’s marketing budget.
