COVID HOSPITALIZATIONS DROP

The number of people hospitalized for coronavirus in Maryland continues to decline. The state health department reports there are 432 residents who are being treated in hospitals, which is down by ten from Tuesday. There are 198 new COVID infections and eight additional deaths related to the virus. The state’s seven-day positivity rate has dropped to one-point-87-percent.  Nearly six-million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered, and more than two-point-eight-million residents are fully vaccinated.
