MARYLAND CORONAVIRUS METRICS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE

Maryland’s COVID-19 metrics continue to improve with the state’s positivity rate dropping to one-point-47-percent.  Governor Larry Hogan says the state has achieved its goal of giving 70-percent of adults at least one dose of vaccine by Memorial Day, ahead of President Biden’s goal of July Fourth.  There are 117 new cases of coronavirus with 333 Marylanders hospitalized. Health officials report seven additional deaths related to the virus for just over 94-hundred since the start of the pandemic.
