The tax deadline date being moved to mid-May in West Virginia is being credited as to why the state had solid revenue numbers last month. The collections for May came in more than 152-million dollars above estimates. As the fiscal year comes to an end soon, the state is outpacing estimates by nearly 390-million dollars.
