MARYLAND METRICS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE

Maryland’s coronavirus metrics continue to improve.  The Department of Health says the state’s seven-day positivity rate has hit a new low, dropping to point-9-1-percent.  There are 212 residents hospitalized which is down by 15. On Friday hospitals in Anne Arundel County reported zero patients with severe cases of coronavirus infections for the first time since the pandemic began.  Statewide one-hundred-13 new case of the virus have been recorded along with nine deaths. The state has administered more than 6-point-4-million doses of vaccine with more than 3-point-1-million residents fully vaccinated.
