A Capon Bridge couple died in a house fire on Saturday; according to the Hampshire Review, they have been identified as Robert and Virginia Lovett. They were described as “stalwarts of the Methodist Church.” Virginia Lovett was one of the founders of the Capon Bridge Public Library. Their home was located on Northwestern Pike in the Capon Bridge town limits. The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
