A traffic stop on the Canal Parkway resulted in the arrest of Jason Carl Bender of Wiley Ford. When stopped, Bender told the officer he did not possess a valid driver’s license. A search of the vehicle yielded a hypodermic syringe and a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for bath salts. He was charged, received a District Court hearing and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
