Maryland health officials say 64 cases of the Delta variant of COVID-19 were found in Maryland. Only a handful of the cases saw people hospitalized. Officials say they are “keeping a very close eye” on the variant. The Delta variant has been found to be more contagious then other versions of COVID-19.
