A California woman, visiting relatives in Bedford County, died from injuries sustained last month, when a decapitated deer smashed through her windshield in Saint Clair Township. Sixty-eight-year old Roxanne Chuk died Monday evening, after spending about a month at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was a passenger in the front seat of a car when it hit the deer, decapitating it. Its head broke through the windshield, striking Ms. Chuk. A nine-year-old in the back seat of the car was injured, but the driver did not sustain any injuries.
