STATE POLICE FIGHTING AUTO THEFTS

Maryland State Police are hoping to put a stop to vehicle thefts across the Old Line State.  According to data, a vehicle is stolen every 40 minutes in Maryland.  At least half of stolen vehicles had the keys inside while 60-percent of cases had their doors unlocked.  Authorities say that you can help by hiding important valuables, grabbing your keys, and locking the doors regularly.  July is Vehicle Theft Protection Month in Maryland.
