Forty-two-year-old Oakland resident David Noel Smith has been sentenced to three years’ probation on a drug trafficking charge. Smith pleaded guilty in October of last year to one count of unlawful use of communication facility, admitting to using a phone to distribute drugs in March of last year in Monongalia County.
