A Philadelphia man, who was the prime suspect in a series of burglaries in the Somerset area, was seriously injured in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Sergio Rodriguez-Guzman, a native of the Dominican Republic, had tried to break into Best Way Pizza. His truck was later spotted in Somerset, and a chase ensued, with speeds exceeding 125 miles-per-hour. The truck later crashed in Donegal Township. He was treated at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center,and is now being held in the Somerset County Prison.
