FIRE COMPANIES RECEIVE FEDERAL FUNDING

The Maryland Emergency Management Agency is awarding more than a-hundred fire companies with federal funds.  It’s all thanks to the Relief Fund Act of 2021.  One-hundred-and-eighty-one volunteer fire departments across the state will be awarded part of the four-million-dollars that’ll go towards the pandemic recovery.  Baltimore, Allegany, and Frederick counties led the state with the highest amount of award money.
