MARYLAND DEPT. OF EDUCATION ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Maryland’s licensed child care centers and registered family child care providers can now apply for the first round of Child Care Stabilization Grants. The state’s Department of Education says more than 309-million-dollars will be available through the American Rescue Plan’s child care stabilization initiative. Eligible providers can use the funds to support their early childhood workforce, overhead and sanitization costs and goods and services needed to maintain or resume child care services.
