STATE SYSTEM OF HIGHER ED VOTES TO CONSOLIDATE SIX SCHOOLS

The state System of Higher Education’s governing board is in support of consolidating several of their schools.  In a unanimous vote, the board voted to consolidate six of their 14 schools into two universities.  California University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, and Edinboro would form one university in western P-A while Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield would become the other.  The first cohorts of students at the consolidated universities would be in August 2022.
