Twenty-seven-year-old Jason Dylan Roager has been charged with assault, assault of a law enforcement officer and destruction of property-among other charges-following an incident in the 200-block of South Central Avenue. Roager allegedly destroyed several items inside the residence; as he was being arrested, he attempted to light an officers’ clothing on fire. After a brief struggle, they placed him under arrest. He was to have received a District Court hearing.
