ROAD TRAFFIC RETURNS

More drivers are back on Maryland roads and highways.  That’s according to the Maryland Department of Transportation that noted traffic on state highways increased four-tenths-of-a-percent during the first week of July compared to the same time in 2019.  Officials are predicting the increase in travel is due to COVID restrictions being lifted and summer getaways.  State personnel also reported that bridges and tollways have recently been bombarded with travelers.
