MAN CONVICTED ON FIREARMS CHARGE

Franklin resident Devin Cory Teter has been sentenced to four years in prison, after pleading guilty to a firearms charge. Teter pleaded guilty in January of this year to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm; because of a previous conviction, he had been prohibited from owning one. He admitted that he had a 12-gauge shotgun in December of 2019 in Hardy County.
