COVID-19 CASES CONTINUE TO RISE IN MARYLAND

COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Maryland.  The state health department added 447 new cases, but no new virus-related deaths.  Hospitalizations increased by 25, to 281, including 79 in intensive care.  Maryland’s seven-day positivity rate increased by point-two-percent, to three-point-two-three percent.  Data shows 77-point-six-percent of adult Marylanders have gotten at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine.  More than three-and-a-half-million are fully-vaccinated.
