ANTIBODY TESTING TO BEGIN SOON

Voluntary coronavirus antibody blood draws will begin this week in West Virginia.  The Booster Battlefield Assessment will look at adults over 60 and in nursing homes to see if their COVID-19 antibodies are still strong.  This program is the first statewide antibody test, and the results will be shared with the CDC and FDA.  Governor Justice says he hopes Pfizer will step up and cover the costs, and provide booster shots if needed, but the state is footing the costs initially.
