Gas prices are falling in Maryland. According to Triple-A, the statewide average for a gallon of regular is a penny cheaper than a week ago, at three-dollars-eight-cents. However, the average is eight-cents more than last month and 81-cents higher than at the beginning of August a year ago. Prices in Maryland range from a low of two-98 in Hagerstown to a high of three-14 in the DC suburbs.
