MAN TREATED FOLLOWING DOWNTOWN CRASH

West Virginia resident Douglas Dorsey was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, following a crash on South Mechanic Street at Howard Street. Dorsey reportedly drove under a tractor-trailer, as it was making a right-hand turn from Howard onto South Mechanic. His vehicle became wedged under the trailer of the truck; he was freed and taken to UPMC-Western Maryland. He was determined to be at fault, and was charged with failure to yield right-of-way. The operator of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
