The West Virginia State Fair began yesterday. Organizers say the festival is back this year after being canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Fair officials are recommending that visitors wear masks when indoors, regardless of vaccination status and to social distance when possible. The West Virginia State Fair opens today with rapper Nelly leading the concert series and will run through August 21st.
