COUNTY TO INVEST $1 MILLION IN EXPANSION OF HIGH-SPEED INTERNET

Allegany County has announced an expanded Allconet fixed wireless broadband network to service areas in the county with little or no high-speed broadband service. During the past few months, the Allconet network has been undergoing testing and optimization to fine tune expanded internet service for area residents and businesses. The project has deployed new equipment at six sites and established a presence at four new towers across the county, now covering much of Cash Valley, Ellerslie, Flintstone, the Warrior Mountain region, and Oldtown.
