Barton resident Justin Clark was arrested Friday, and charged with various gun possession counts. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call, with the caller promptly disconnecting. An investigation into activities in the 18,000-block of Latrobe Street showed that Clark was allegedly involved in the unlawful manufacture and possession of guns at the home. Clark was charged with possession of a rifle or shotgun after a felony conviction, unlawful possession of an unregistered rifle or shotgun, and unlawful possession of a short-barreled rifle or shotgun. Deputies were assisted by the Allegany County Joint Communications Center, and the Maryland State Police Gun Center.
