AMERICA’S 9/11 RIDE COMING THROUGH CUMBERLAND FRIDAY

America’s 9/11 ride will be rolling through Cumberland on Friday, honoring those killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The motorcycle ride begins at 6:45 a.m. in Somerset, before making their way to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville. They will come through town on the way to Arlington, Virginia. They will arrive in Manhattan Saturday night, where they will participate in a ceremony at the site of the World Trade Center. America’s 911 Foundation, organizer of the event, offers scholarships to children of law enforcement officers and first responders.
