ARCHDIOCESE NOT SETTING UNIVERSAL MASK POLICY FOR SCHOOL YEAR

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is not setting a universal mask policy for its Catholic schools. Officials say local transmission levels will be monitored daily and masking changes will be implemented at the start of each school week if warranted. Schools will be sanitized and hand sanitizer or washing will be required. The Archdiocese says vaccinations are a personal choice but the school community is strongly encouraged to get vaccinated to reduce the risk. A State of Maryland or local Health Department order will supersede Archdiocese guidance, if it is stricter.
