MARYLAND SCHOOL BOARD TO VOTE ON UNIVERSAL MASKING TODAY

The Maryland Board of Education is scheduled to vote today  on whether to adopt a statewide school mask mandate.  Most school districts in Central Maryland have already mandated masks for all students and staff to prevent the spread of COVID-19, however there are several counties without masking requirements. Governor Larry Hogan has previously said he would not be ordering universal masking in schools, leaving the decision to school officials.
