VINCE GILL – WINNER

Twenty-seven years ago (Oct. 5, 1994) was a day of celebration for Vince Gill. It was on that date that the singer took home three CMA Awards, at the 28th annual ceremony. Gill won for Male Vocalist of the Year; Album of the Year, for his part in the tribute album Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles; and the night’s highest honor, Entertainer of the Year, although he admits that he didn’t think of the win as that big of a deal. Fast forward twenty plus years and look who Vince is playing with now…The Eagles!
