MEYERSDALE MAN KILLED IN WRONG-WAY I-68 CRASH

A 51-year-old Meyersdale resident was killed Monday evening in a crash on Interstate 68. The victim, who has yet to be identified, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the interstate when he struck two westbound cars. He was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The other victims, a man and woman from Macungie, Pennsylvania were treated for their injuries. There was no word on the driver and/or passengers of the third car. Interstate 68 was closed for several hours during the investigation by the Maryland State Police.
