Officials with Maryland State Police are firm believers that traffic safety enforcement helps save lives. That was the goal with a law enforcement initiative held over the weekend. State Police and officers from Montgomery and Prince George’s counties partnered to issue nearly 250-citations, 160-warnings, and 36-safety equipment repair orders. More than 20-impaired drivers were also removed from the behind the wheel. M-S-P says they will continue to make their presence felt along state highways throughout the holiday season.
