TWO ARRESTS ANNOUNCED IN POLICE OFFICER’S SHOOTING

Two men are under arrest in connection to the ambush-style shooting of a Baltimore City police officer.  Thirty-two-year-old Travon Shaw and 31-year-old Elliot Knox are charged with attempted murder.  Police Commissioner Michael Harrison also says the suspects are suspected of shooting and killing a guy an hour later in the Yale Heights area.  He says both men have extensive criminal records and admitted their roles in the shootings.  Officer Keona Holly was sitting in her patrol car in Curtis Bay early Thursday morning when the suspects approached her from behind and opened fire.  She remains on life support.
