GROUPS LAUNCH $250,000 AD CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT BIDEN SPENDING BILL

A coalition of West Virginia advocacy groups is aiming a 250-thousand dollar ad campaign at Senator Joe Manchin to get him to support President Biden’s Build Back Better Act.  The WV New Jobs Coalition is made up of groups including the West Virginia Working Families Party and the West Virginia Citizens Action Group.  The groups released a TV ad and ads in five newspapers on Wednesday.  They’re trying to get the Democratic senator to support Biden’s wide-ranging nearly two-trillion dollar spending plan after Manchin said last Sunday he’s a “no” on the bill.
