PA. COLLEGES, UNIVERSITY TO REQUIRE BOOSTER SHOTS

Officials at Lehigh University say they’ll be  requiring students, faculty and staff to receive COVID-19 booster shots by January 14th for the spring semester.  Lafayette and Muhlenberg colleges also are requiring the same inoculations, though leaders at those schools say students will need to comply  by February 1st.  At all the schools, the requirements will apply to all fully vaccinated students, faculty, and staff who do not already have a medical or religious exemption.  Students who don’t get boosters will not be able to go into residence halls and campus buildings and may be dis-enrolled from spring courses. Faculty and staff noncompliance will be seen as a violation of workplace and university policy.
