Cumberland City Police have identified a person of interest, who stole a car in the 100-block of Oak Street late yesterday morning. The car, a Mitsubishi Outlander with license plate number 5CD4575, was running at the time, and a male, wearing black and white clothing was seen around the car at the time of the theft. Police also have video evidence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cumberland City Police Department at (301)-777-1600, and they are reminding residents that leaving a vehicle running and unattended increases your chances of being victimized, and is a violation of Maryland State Law.
