A fire on Saturday caused about $175,000 in damage to a Kitzmiller home, located at 203 East Main Street. The fire began in a storage room about 10 p.m. on New Years Night. Responding were about 40 volunteer firefighters, who brought the blaze under control in 15 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
