Two Cumberland women were arrested Friday, and charged with child neglect. Kristin Susan August and Jessica Alexis Jones were taken into custody, following a report of an unattended child in the 200-block of Maryland Avenue. Police found the child alone inside the residence, and when the two arrived home, they were taken into custody. Following a District Court hearing, both were released on their own recognizance.
