Hyattsville resident Makayla Richardson and Stephawn Malik Watson of District Heights were arrested Tuesday, following a traffic stop on Henderson Avenue. While officers detected the odor of marijuana, they also found a loaded handgun under the passenger seat. It was also discovered the gun, and the car in which they were traveling were both stolen. Ms. Richardson also had an active arrest warrant out of Prince George’s County for failure to appear. Watson also had two active arrest warrants from Prince George’s County and Anne Arundel County. Following A District Court hearing, Watson was held without bond, while Ms. Richardson was held on $2500 bond.
