WV CRACKING DOWN ON DISTRACTED DRIVING

This is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and West Virginia’s highway safety officials want you to not answer your call, or read a text when driving.  Did you know that if you are driving at 55 miles per hour, and you look away to read a typical text message, that is like driving blind for the distance of a football field.  The Governor’s Highway Safety Program suggests you turn on the Do Not Disturb feature on your phone while driving, and keep your eyes down the road.
