Cumberland resident Daniel Ray Izat was charged with 4th-degree burglary and trespassing, following a Saturday incident on Boone Street. He had knocked on the door of a residence, saying he used to live on Boone Street. He walked past the resident, sat in a chair and fell asleep. The resident didn’t know Izat, and he did not have permission to be in the residence. He was arrested, received a bond hearing, and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
