MARYLAND PEDESTRIAN DEATHS INCREASED BY NEARLY 13% IN 2021

Maryland pedestrian deaths are on the rise. According to a report by the Governor’s Highway Safety Association 63 pedestrians died in the state in 2021 which is an increase of nearly 13-percent from the previous year. The report compared the number of people killed during the first six months of the past three years. Nationwide, pedestrian deaths were up by almost 17-percent over the same time period.
