STATE EXPANDS VACCINE OUTREACH

Well over 700 primary care practices now offer COVID-19 vaccines across the Old Line State.  It’s part of the Maryland Primary Care Vaccine Program that began last year.  Health officials say that adult and family medicine practices are responsible for administering more than 400-thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to date.  A webinar is being held this evening to provide information about the coronavirus to healthcare providers.  More than 200 pediatric practices and 500 family medicine practices are included in the program.
