When West Virginia Governor Justice vetoed the plan by lawmakers to break up the Department of Health and Human Resources, he agreed to take steps to fix it. That first step has started, with a “request for quote” from industry experts outside of the agency to review the practices and provide recommendations. Once those are submitted, Justice said work will get started to identify the issues with the DHRR.
